Selling & Buying Updates

The period since the middle of June has been a very active spell and I wanted to take a moment to congratulate a whole bunch of clients who have concluded their real estate deals during this time.

Firstly, I wanted to congratulate both my sellers and my buyers of 83 Crystal Green Drive – both of whom have been a joy to work with.  My “out of town” buyer did let me know how useful the above website had been in helping them to visualize the property before I first showed it to them.

A huge thank you to my wonderful clients at 88 Crystalridge Close who completed the sale of their lovely home. In this case, the buyers were not my clients but I have subsequently had the privilege of meeting them and they are a fabfamily and I know they will be very happy in this lovely home.

Meanwhile, my sellers of the above home have gone on to purchase a terrific home here in Okotoks that has an enormous lot and panoramic mountain views. This family have now done several deals with me in recent years.  You know who you are guys and let me tell you that your ongoing loyalty is greatly appreciated!

Elsewhere in Okotoks, my clients at 252 Crystal Green Point completed the sale of their home recently. Rarely have I come across a family so focussed on their goal of selling.  It was a terrific experience to work with them and to help them achieve their goals.800_007a Kitchen

Another wonderful set of clients took possession of this beautiful Sheep River home in the last couple of weeks.  We had fun with a very varied property search that went over some months before they settled on what is surely one of THE nicest homes in Okotoks.  Great choice guys.029-24-SRH

I also want to congratulate my sellers at 145 Woodbend Way this was one of those rare situations when we were so “on the money” that the first people through the door bought the home.  Again, as non locals, I gather the buyers (who were not my clients) appreciated the website in terms of falling in love with the home from afar.1500_Exterior Front 2

Another completed sale in these last few weeks was for my superb clients at 161 Crystal Shores Drive – a terrific custom built home.  These guys had made a great attempt at trying to sell by themselves (the best such attempt I think I have seen) but ultimately elected to work with a Realtor to help them achieve their goals. I am proud that they selected me for the task and working together, we got the job done and I am delighted for them.

My seller of a McKenzie Towne Condo in Calgary, has been an absolute joy to work with from first to last, both in terms of co-operation in the sale of the above condo and in a subsequent condo purchase. I am totally delighted that we were able to find this client the absolutely ideal condo in the absolutely ideal condominium complex, for a great price.

Meanwhile, I was also very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the buyers of the above Mckenzie Towne condo (top pic).  Wow, these guys have a life plan and they are fantastic at executing it.  I was very grateful when, having bought the condo, they then selected me as their REALTOR to sell their home of around a quarter century in Douglasdale Estates, Calgary.  We managed to get a buyer for 110 Douglasbank Drive inside a week, which is a huge enabler for the next phase of their plans.

Let’s see, what else to report…I hope you are keeping up with me!

I want to congratulate my sellers at 109 Drake Landing Cove – another family with a very clear idea of what they were trying to achieve.  As a REALTOR, I understand how big a deal it is that someone entrusts the sale (or purchase) of a home to me and it is a real privilege to play a part in helping them move onto the next phase of their lives.

On that note, I want to say a final CONGRATULATIONS to my absolutely lovely clients who recently took possession of what is their first home in Canada and it is a fabulous choice that they made.  Again, this is a special responsibility and one that I take very seriously and I am so pleased that they placed their trust in me to help them.

So, as you can see, it has been an insanely busy last month.  It has been tiring but great fun.
